Hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer of beekeeping and other great outdoor activities. We’re heading into fall quickly and many of you may have already started your fall harvest. Our August meeting will be focusing on using the clubs 6 frame extraction units. We will also present on how to crush and strain method. We will also show what to do with your wax and answer as many fall honey harvest questions as possible.
The board is currently working on preparing for our 2020 beginning beekeeper class and our elections for October. If you are interested in being a part of our board, we elect officers and members every October. If you are wanting to be on the ballot, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The Larimer County Fair appeared to be well attended again this year. Our volunteers at the fair were kept busy answering a large range of topics and all enjoyed their time during this annual volunteer event. If you haven’t volunteered before, be sure to check out our volunteer page for events where you can particpate.
