Well we are in the middle of June and there’s so much I need to do. I am still making splits, supering hives and fixing some dead-outs. I hope most of you have your hives where you want them and honey supers on. Mites should be under control now and your bees are hopefully producing honey. For some of you new beekeepers you should hopefully have your second box on and they should be drawing it out if not already done. But it all depends on where you live and how strong of a nectar flow you have had. For you who have honey supers on make sure you check it every week because it can get full quickly.
This month meeting will be about what to do with your bees wax. All the wax scrapings you’ve been saving up. How to render them down to have beautiful wax how to sell or make things from. We will also be going over pollen traps and how to collect pollen.
Our main speaker will be Gloria Degrandi-Hoffman. She will be doing a webinar.

Gloria Degrandi-Hoffman :
Research leader on a number of important topics affecting all beekeepers today and will be sharing information on several of these projects.
