Harvest Farm, https://www.harvestfarm.net/, is a non-profit addiction recovery program for men located in Wellington, CO.  We are a working Farm that houses 72 men, and the men participate in something called Work Therapy during their time on the Farm.  This includes work in our Garden, where we maintain a few bee hives.  Several of our men are interested in learning more about beekeeping and we could use some professional assistance to help us care for and maximize our hives.  We’re looking for someone to come to the Farm on a semi-regular basis to provide instruction for our men on the proper care of the bees and guidance for our staff who maintain the hives. Interested? Contact: hpulley@denrescue.org

The University of Wyoming Laramie County Extension Office is hosting the Wyoming Bee College at Laramie County Community College, Cheyenne, March 1920, 2016.The Wyoming Bee College is open to everyone interested in the health and welfare of pollinator insects.  The Bee College is a two day three track conference covering beginning beekeeping, advanced beekeeping methods, native bees and ways to help them all.  We bring in longtime beekeepers, researchers from USDA Bee Labs and University professors for up to-date information.
