Honey Party and
Holiday Craft Sale / Sustainability Fair
Major events are planned for September and December that need your support to be successful – please contact Volunteer Coordinator Merry Popa at email@example.com to offer your support!
Thursday, September 19th 6:30-8:30 PM – Honey Party at the Centennial Park Pavilion in Loveland
This annual celebration of our harvest always provides good food and good times! While this is a pot-luck event, the Association reimburses several members who are willing to prepare honey-based recipes in a quantity sufficient for everyone to sample! Let us know if you’d like to be one of these members!
Friday, December 6th 5:30–9 PM – NCBA is sponsoring our first large-scale event intended for participation by the general public – a combination Holiday Craft Sale and Sustainability Fair! We plan to feature a wide spectrum of local crafters selling their products (not limited to bee-based products), a variety of information tables sponsored by local non-profit and sustainability-oriented organizations, mead tastings and two showings of “More Than Honey”. Our Holiday Fair Team will need the support of many members to make this a success, including people to help organize and evaluate crafter’s applications for participation, organizing the participation of non-profit and sustainability organizations, two people to each host a showing of the film, people to organize light refreshments, someone to organizing the mead tastings and people to assist with advance publicity and advertising. Email Merry to let her know you’d like to be part of the team! Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about participating as a crafter or other booth host.
